On August 27, 2023 Ningxia Elderly Care Service Industry Expo and Forum was successfully concluded. The event was sponsored by the Civil Affairs Department of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Ningxia Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), instructed by the China Association of Social Workers, the China Silver Industry Association and the China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, and co-sponsored by Poly Exhibition under Poly Developments.

The offline part of the Expo attracted more than 400 elderly-related enterprises, and more than 100 visiting groups from nearly 20 provinces and cities. More than 10,000 visitors came to visit and purchase, including a large number of elderly visitors who came to experience high-end elderly-care technologies and new old-age care services. More than 300 enterprises and 3.3 million visitors participated in the Expo online.
A large number of innovative products, technologies and services suitable for the elderly, which integrate AI, big data, Internet, Internet of Things, millimeter wave radar and other advanced technologies, have appeared at the Expo, leading the trend of intelligent old-age care. The home-based, community-based and institution-based elderly care services displayed on the spot also bring better, more diversified and more convenient services for the elderly in their later years. At the on-site signing ceremony, contracts worth nearly 1 billion yuan were signed for 26 projects.
